These hilarious food fails don’t look anything like their picture
People are taking top the internet to reveal the worst times they’ve purchased yummy-looking food - only to discover that their fare looks absolutely nothing like how it was advertised

NOTHING is more annoying than when the food you’ve been craving doesn’t turn out as expected – and sometimes the photos on the packaging are hugely deceiving.
While pack shots are usually enough to get your mouth watering, often the end product isn’t quite what you had hoped.
People are taking top the internet to reveal the worst times they’ve purchased yummy-looking food - only to discover that their fare looks absolutely nothing like how it was advertised.
Examples include a sad looking lasagne ready meal purchased from Tesco – which looked more like a puddle of cheese than the enticing Italian favourite on the packet.
Dave Cargill, who purchased the meal, addressed Tesco on Twitter, he wrote: “Very disappointed with your lasagne. Looks nothing like the packaging. Very sloppy. Tastes ok. Not worth £6.”
Vikki Ita also had a disappointing ready meal dish – this time from Waitrose.

Instead of the two yummy looking spinach cannelloni, she was left with a gooey mixture on her plate.
She tweeted: “Spinach cannelloni looks nothing like the picture, it's more like soup... went straight in the bin.”
But these weren’t the only cases of massive food fails when it came to expectations versus reality.
In other meal fails, ‘loaded’ fries were not living up to their name, a hot dog looked nothing as advertised and a Papa John’s ‘heart shaped’ pizza wasn’t much of a heart at all.
And puddings weren’t safe either. One user was left frustrated when her My Little Pony ice lolly looked nothing like one of the lovable characters, while other social media users were left with disappointing donuts.
Have you ever had a meal that hasn’t looked as advertised?
