THE horrific armed robbery of Kim Kardashian's flat bears a chilling likeness to those carried out by the notorious Pink Panther gang.
Hailing from Eastern Europe, the network of criminals has stolen more than £280million during highly-planned heists for more than 30 years.

The crime syndicate is made up of around 200 criminals who made their name hiding a giant diamond in a pot of skin cream during an audacious 2003 raid in London.
The method resembled one used in a Pink Panther movie.
Made up mostly of Serbians and Montenegrins, the gang has struck all around the world - including cities such as Cannes, Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo.
Few of them have ever been caught since they first struck in 1984 and even fewer give away any details about the members of the gang that remain on the loose.
They are renowned for their use of elaborate ruses to get near their target.
The gang rarely uses violence and have been known to dress up as golfers and police - just like those disguises used by the group who targeted Kardashian.
Keeping Up With The Kardadshians star Kim certainly gives plenty of ammunition to a gang able to put together a detailed robbery plot.
Local bartenders said it was obvious where she was staying while in Paris.
One said: "She’s been popping in and out all the time.
"It’s always the same drill – a people carrier with dark windows turns up, along with the paparazzi and then we see her.
"Unfortunately too many people seem to know that she lives here!"

And she has recently flaunted her incredible collection of jewellery on Instagram.
One ring she recently showed off is believed to have cost hubby Kanye West around £3.5million.
The Pink Panthers first made their name back in 1984 when three crooks armed with machines guns stole £39million of diamonds from a luxury Cannes hotel.
They often use elaborate getaway vehicles such as motorbikes and speedboats.
One believed member of the gang was nabbed by police in 2014.
Serbian Borko Ilincic, 33, was caught by Spanish police and is thought to have been one of the group's ringleaders.
