Liverpool's favourite "Paddy The Baddy" dominated the UFC 314 co-main event in Miami early on Sunday morning, delivering a stunning victory to propel him into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings and maybe serve as a pivotal moment in his quest for a world title.
The fight served as the main support act for the big fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes for the men's featherweight title, which Volk won to reclaim the title he had held for almost four years before losing it to Ilia Topuria.
Legendary four-time Bellator world champion Patricio Pitbull lost his eagerly anticipated UFC debut against Mexico's Yair Rodriguez.

Julian Erosa wins in Round 1!
After a fast start from the veterans, Erosa dominates the round with huge blows on the ground and on the feet.
It was the big upkicks which landed flush on his chin that was the begining of the end for Elkins.
He finishes the 40-year-old by TKO with just 40 seconds remaining.

In our preliminary card opener, we have Darren Elkins vs Julian Erosa.
These two veterans are both on a two-fight win streak and will be hoping to make it three in a row here in Miami.
Elkins has fought some huge names in the past including the likes of Michael Johnson, Cub Swanson, and even tonight's main event man - Alexander Volkanovski.

Conor McGregor has all-but confirmed he WON'T be retiring from the fight game ahead of UFC 314!
The Irishman hinted late last month that his days as a fighter could soon come to an end by admitting he was content with what he's achieved in his Hall-of-Fame career.
But a little less than two weeks after hinting the end is nigh, the former two-weight UFC champ has changed his tune.
On Thursday afternoon, he shared a video of himself hitting the pads with his trainer for his 46.7million Instagram followers to see.
And his accompanying caption included a message for lightweight contenders Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett.
Confidence is key
Paddy Pimblett is confident that the fight isn't going to go the distance.
The Baddy said: "Fight sim smashed 5x5s in the bank raring to go next week!" Pimblett wrote.
"Ready for five rounds even though this fight isn’t going the distance.
"Can't thank the team enough for the best didn't camp we’ve ever done... all my training partners for getting me the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been.
"I really am in the shape of my life! Chandler ain’t ready people believe that!"

Paddy Pimblett put on a sensational display during his last tussle with King Green as The Baddy cruised to a technical submission win in July 2024.
And it means that Pimblett’s UFC record currently stands at 6-0.

The cagewalk time for Paddy Pimblett vs Michael Chandler are scheduled for approximately 4:30am BST/ 11:30pm ET.
This means that the huge bout will likely begin approximately 15 minutes later - 4:45am BST/11:45pm ET.
However, timings could change depending on the length of the other bouts.
