Your Sky box now has a fitness app with virtual classes that let you work out at home
SKY has added the Fiit app to UK Sky Q boxes so users can workout from their homes.
The app offers 600 on-demand virtual classes, which could come in useful as we spend more time indoors.
You can get the Fiit app on lots of different platforms.
This includes Android and iOS.
Its appearance on Sky Q is the first time it has been on a TV platform in the UK.
If you have a Sky Q box, you can now use the app on your TV to browse through 35 trainers and the fitness classes they can take you through.
Classes range from classic cardio to strength training.
UK customers have three price options.
A £20 payment gets you one month usage, £45 will get you three months or you can pay £120 to use the app for a whole year.
The good news is that Sky Q box customers can get 24 free classes.
Sky VIP members also get 30 days of free membership.
Sky customers get Sky VIP as a free service.
Sky's group chief product officer, Fraser Stirling, said: "With Fiit on Sky Q, we’re making it easier for people to enjoy their fitness journey at home.
"This is just the first fitness experience to come to the platform, reflecting how important Sky Q is to home life.
"The TV experience is now about much more than our favourite show or movie, it’s how we listen to music, it’s about education, gaming, health and wellbeing, and much more."
