MASTERCHEF fans have all made the same complaint about judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace after the series returned.

Dozens of viewers flooded Twitter to hit out at the pair, after they repeatedly pronounced an iconic Scottish dish wrong.

The popular BBC cooking show returned to screens on Monday night, but fans were left complaining just minutes into the programme.

Show judges John, 57, and Gregg, 58, revealed that the latest round of amateur cooks would be taking to the kitchen tonight.

The first round saw the first nine chefs taking to the kitchen.

The cooks were given time to show off their favourite 'home' inspired dishes in the hopes of making it through.

Among them was Geva who revealed she wanted to make a Scottish inspired dish in honour of her husband and daughters.

She told the cameras she was making her twist on haggis, neeps and tatties, with a microwaveable hollandaise sauce.

However, after presenting the dish to John and Gregg, fans at home were left furious over their pronunciation of "neeps".

Neeps is the word used for white turnips, which is served alongside traditional haggis and roasted potatoes in the dish.

But instead of pronouncing it how fans expected, they were left red in the face that the pair kept calling them "nips".

"It's NEEPS, John, not NIPS," one furiously hit out, as another chimed in: "Someone please tell John it's neeps and tatties, not nips!"

"John saying 'nips' instead of 'neeps' might set me off," a third added, while a fourth said: "It's not NIPS, it's neeps."

"I think you'll find it's neeps not nips, John," a fifth said, while a sixth chimed in with a face palm emoji: "It's NEEPS."

It comes after viewers were left distracted by a "hot" floor manager - who was brought in for the first episode of the show today.

John and Gregg to taste the food - leaving the kitchen floor without eyes on the cooks to ensure they were keeping to time.

The judges instead introduced a new member to the show, a floor manager that left fans at home very distracted.

Many took to Twitter to reveal they "liked the look of" the floor manager, as they begged to see "more" of him.

"Well hello, floor manager," one wrote, as another chimed in alongside eye emojis: "Oh hello to the floor manager on Masterchef."

"Can we have more time checks with the floor manager please," a third asked, as a fourth said: "Hello to Mr Floor Manager ONLY."
