I’m a size 14 fashion editor and have found the ‘best trousers’ -they’re comfy, bloat friendly, perfect for travelling

When it comes to fashion, if something isn’t comfortable then it’s not worth my time.
I cannot stand the thought and feeling of being uncomfortable all day long.
Pull On Gingham Trousers, £25, Next
Over the years working in fashion, I’ve tried on countless pairs of trousers, suffered through them digging in my stomach, zips falling down and willing for the end of the day to take them off.
However, this year I’ve hit the jackpot.
With a pair of trousers that are fully elasticated, smooth over my body, are bloat friendly, lightweight enough that they’re perfect for travelling and are most importantly super comfortable.

Oh and they’re only £25.
From Next this gingham pair is not only very on trend with it being one of the prints of the season, but it comes in an array of colours too depending on your preference.
What’s not to love?
I have the black and green pair, however the brand also does them in blue and purple.

With an elasticated draw string waist and pockets, they really are the trousers that keep on giving.
So if you're wanting to add some spring style to your wardrobe, look no further.
Reviews on the Next website also echo along the same lines with everyone saying they are very comfortable.
One user even said: “These are the most comfortable trousers. Bought for holiday and can’t wait to wear them. Bought all the colours! They’ve been washed really well too.”
And I couldn’t agree more, they wash perfectly so there is no fear of shrinking either.
Another user also said: “Delighted with these! Super comfy to wear and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Have had lots of compliments when wearing!.”
Sizing is between and 8 and 18 and they also come in different leg lengths, small, regular and tall.
Tik Tok users have also realised just how great these trousers are with one video gaining tens of thousands of likes showing all the varieties of the trousers in store.
But you may want to move quickly as they are already starting to sell out in different colours.
Why are clothes from Next so good?
By Abby McHale Deputy Fashion Editor
Abby McHale said: "Founded in the 80s Next has been a staple on the UK high street for decades.
"Known for being a one stop shop for all the family, it’s directories especially set them apart from the crowd over the years.
"More recently it’s expanded even further, adding a roster of external brands to its repertoire, even branching further into beauty.
"But fashion is what is at its core.
"Thanks to celebrity fashion collaborations with the likes of Rochelle Humes and Emma Willis the brand is up there with the most stylish on the high street.
"From smart tailoring, classic wardrobe staples, a plethora of shoes and bags and a summer shop to lust over, there is so much to choose from.
"The best thing about Next is that it’s reliable.
"Not only offering speedy delivery, the stores are as well as in the big cities situated in your local retail parks making them super accessible.
"Plus the pieces fit well, being true to size even when it comes to jeans, which we all know can be a tricky fit.
"It really is a brand that ticks all the boxes.
"Stylish clothes that also offer comfort and practicality with a price tag to go with - what more could you ask for?
"And it seems to be working for them with sales reported to be up 5.7 per cent in the first quarter of this year."
