You CAN fall pregnant through your clothes… and other shocking ways you can conceive

THERE are various myths about how a woman can get pregnant.
But while some of them are utter nonsense, others are scarily true - including conceiving a baby without penetration.
Worryingly you can even get pregnant from getting frisky with your clothes on, according to in Australia
While it's pretty uncommon, the organisation explained: "If semen came into contact with your vagina then there is a risk of pregnancy."
This is possible even if the couple are wearing clothes, as semen can soak through underwear, though this is rare.
The health experts also bust the common myth that it's impossible to get pregnant when you're breastfeeding.
Although doing so for up to six months after giving birth can limit a woman's chances of conception, there is no evidence to support it is 100 per cent effective as a preventative method.
Many women are also under the misconception it is impossible to get pregnant if your partner withdraws before ejaculating.
According to Family Planning NSW: "Pregnancy can happen even if the penis is pulled out before ejaculation as the small amount of semen in pre-ejaculation fluid can come into contact with the vagina."
They also point out it is possible for a woman to get pregnant at any point during her cycle, debunking the myth she can only conceive during the "fertile" days of her menstrual cycle.
You can even get pregnant if you have sex during your period.
Scarily, some women can also conceive from anal sex.
Earlier this month we reported the shocking claim made by a doctor that it is possible for women to become pregnant by this way of intercourse.
Dr Brian Steixner, a urologist at the Jersey Urology Group in Atlantic City, told how he had treated a woman with a rare condition called ‘cloacal malformation'.
This is a condition which only occurs in girls as they’re developing in their mother’s womb when their rectum, urethra and vagina fail to separate into different tubes.
Normally this is rectified by surgery, but for one woman in the US, a surgical mistake or a rare bodily reaction created an abnormal connection between her womb and her rectum.
Every month during menstruation she reportedly bled from her anus – but her vagina was a dead-end.
Thankfully the condition which makes such a pregnancy possible is very rare - only in one in 50,000 people have a chance of it happening to them.
