On British Gas? Martin Lewis stuns GMB viewers with the energy secret that could save you £300 A YEAR on your bills… but the offer runs out today
Consumer guru reveals hidden British Gas tariff which could see customers flocking to Sainsbury's

MONEY expert Martin Lewis has sent consumers scrambling to Sainbury’s after revealing a little known energy secret.
The consumer guru told Good Morning Britain viewers that the supermarket’s energy brand is actually British Gas by another name.
But switching to Sainsbury’s Energy could save users HUNDREDS of pounds.
He revealed that the supermarket’s customers pay £300 LESS for the same gas and electricity and even the same service as British Gas costumers.
He told Ben Shepherd and Susanna Reid: “I talk about switching energy all the time and a lot of people say I can’t be bothered, but there is a hidden British Gas tariff that is massively cheaper than all its other.
“It’s hidden because it’s not British Gas, it’s Sainbury’s. Here’s the trick. Sainsbury’s Energy IS British Gas because British Gas licenses Sainbury’s name.
“It’s the same gas, the same electricity, the same service and they have a separate customer services centre but that’s run by British Gas.
“On typical usage dual fuel, on British Gas you are paying £1044 a year. BG cheapest available tariff at the moment is £1019 a year. S E Fixed for June 2017 is £750. Same company, same gas, same electricity.”
Martin risked causing a stampede however when urged customers to be quick.
He added: “This tariff ends today. “
One word of warning, however, is that the deal still might be beaten by other providers.
