What’s on Wetherspoons’ Christmas Day menu? Opening times for lunch and dinner

EACH year Wetherspoons introduce a festive menu with a number of your favourite Christmas classics to help you enjoy the yuletide season that little bit more.
The popular Great British and Irish pub chain introduce winter warmers during the coming months - here are all the details you need if you want to try them.
When do Wetherspoons start serving their Christmas menu?
The majority of Wetherspoons pubs started serving their Christmas menu from Monday November 14.
The opening and closing times of each restaurant depends on the area but often they are between the hours of 7.30am and 12am.
What's on Wetherspoons' Christmas menu?
For the first time, turkey and trimmings meals won’t be served this December, but pub spokesman Eddie Gershon said: “We will still be serving a range of Christmas meals, all day."
Starters
British pork and smoked bacon pâté
For many people, pâté is a Christmas classic and Wetherspoons' are serving up this festive treat with red onion marmalade and half a baguette.
Calories: Each serving is 410 calories.
Mini smoked salmon salad
Wetherspoons are also serving a light smoked salad which is low-calorie, gluten-free option with tomato wedges, cucumber, red onion, rocket and salad dressing.
Calories: Each salad is 410 calories.
Breaded Brie (v)
Cheese at Christmas is always a popular choice, and these breaded Brie portions served with cranberry sauce and rocket are perfect for everyone.
Calories: Each portion is 503 calories.
Soup of the day with half a baguette
Ask at the bar for today’s soup of the day.
Turkey, bacon and cranberry panini
This panini has the best flavours of a roast turkey dinner – in a lunch-sized snack.
Bacon, cranberry, turkey and rocket are served in a ciabatta roll, it's also served with chips and salad for an extra £1, the soup of the day.
Turkey salad wrap
Turkey and salad are served in a warm tortilla wrap, with chips and salad or, for an extra £1, the soup of the day.

Turkey pie
This year, Wetherspoons have introduced a fun twist on a traditional Christmas lunch by introducing a turkey pie.
It will have a sage & onion pastry case and is filled with turkey carrots, parsnips and a pork, chestnut & cranberry stuffing in a rich gravy, it is also served with gravy, mash or chips and peas or mushy peas.
Calories: Each meal is 1141 calories.
Vegetarian Wellington
The vegetarian Wellington is a fantastic choice and includes mushroom, spinach, Brie, hazelnuts and cranberries.
The Wellington is served with a vegetarian gravy, mash or chips and peas or mushy peas and contains nuts (hazelnut).
Calories: Each meal is 1052 calories.
Brie and bacon beef burger
If you don't fancy the turkey pie, you can opt for a 6oz beef burger, topped with bacon and breaded Brie. The burger is served with chips, six onion rings and cranberry sauce.
Calories: Each meal is 1118 calories.
Chips: add 597 calories.
Onion rings: add 338 calories.
Brie and cranberry vegetable burger (v)
The vegetable is another option for vegetarians, the burger is topped with breaded Brie and served with chips, six onion rings and cranberry sauce.
Calories: Each meal is 781 calories
Chips: add 597 calories.

Christmas pudding
The classic indulgent Christmas option is packed with sultanas, raisins, cherries, mixed peel, almonds and brandy.
The pudding is served with either a brandy sauce or custard and contains nuts (almonds).
Calories: Brandy sauce pudding is 672 calories or with custard sauce 575 calories.
Milk chocolate honeycomb cheesecake
The cheesecake has a crunchy biscuit base, with a luxurious milk chocolate cream cheese, topped with crunchy honeycomb pieces and a dusting of gold shimmer.
If preferred, it can be served with ice cream and is suitable for vegetarians.
Calories: Each cheesecake is 572 calories.
Mince tarts
These are made with all-butter pastry, filled with a luxury mincemeat of apples, sultanas, currants, orange and lemon peel and mixed spices, then hand finished with a pastry star on top.
White chocolate & cranberry muffin
This is a vanilla sponge with cranberries and white chocolate chunks, filled with a cranberry curd and topped with more white chocolate chunks.
Hot drinks and mulled cider
Wetherspoons have also included two new hot drinks on their festive menu.
Their Black Forest hot chocolate, made with morello cherry syrup and topped with cream, is perfect for getting warmed up on a cold evening.
And the gingerbread latte is a returning favourite, served with a cheerful mini gingerbread man.
Their Orchard Pig Juggler Mulled Cider is 4.0% ABV and wonderfully aromatic. The cider is made from Somerset cider apples, with mulling syrup, infused with spices and citrus fruits.
Orchard Pig’s brewers call it a ‘spiced warm mulled hug’ – perfect for a chilly evening.
How long will they be serving Christmas food for?
The majority of pubs will be serving their Christmas menu until Thursday 22 December and although booking isn't necessarily required, it's recommended you book for group of six or more.
