Facebook users mock couple who splashed out over £800 on just TWO cocktails from a fancy bar
The pair who paid over the odds for the drinks at the five-star Widder Hotel in Zurich have been ridiculed online

A COUPLE who spent over £800 on just two cocktails have been mocked online after a mixologist uploaded a photo of the receipt.
Dirk Hany, head bartender at the 5* Widder Hotel in Zurich,"Selling the most expensive cocktail ever mixed at #widderbar .... check".
After putting up the picture on Facebook, a number of Dirk's friends commented on the cost of the pricey cocktails.
One person asked: "Was the cocktail diamond encrusted?" While someone else joked: "Do you get to keep the glass?"
Another one of Dirk's Facebook friends emphasised that the price of the drinks are almost the equivalent of an ounce of gold, which comes to around £910.
After spotting that espresso was still full price, one person playfully quipped: "And then the espresso is not on the house?"

The two customers ordered the El Maximo Cocktails, which were priced at 520 Swiss Francs, the equivalent of £405 each.
Each drink is made using Havana Club Anejo Maximo, fresh lime juice, sugarcane and white truffle from Alba, Italy, which is what drives the cost up so high.
When asked by his friends why there was no photograph of the drink itself, Dirk explained that the bartenders in the Widder Hotel mix the drinks in front of the customer.
