From heavy rain falling from bright blue skies to disappearing clothes, here are the 10 biggest soap blunders of 2016
EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street are all guilty of gaffes - these are some of the best of the year

THIS year soap fans have been especially eagle-eyed in spotting mistakes in storylines and acting blunders - here are some of the best.
EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have all fallen foul of bloopers and to make sure you don't forget any of the cringeworthy moments we've created a roundup.
1. Whitney's wedding veil disappears
When Whiney finally tied the knot with her fiance Lee Carter, viewers were left baffled by the blunder in the episode of EastEnders.
The nuptials went smoothly until the wedding party arrived back at the Queen Vic pub for the reception.
The family gathered outside the boozer for the group pictures, and Whitney was seen posing for snaps without her white veil.
However, when she came back into the pub her veil was back on.
The mystery didn't end there because just seconds later her brother Johnny took to the stage to start his speech and the the camera cut to Whitney who was back in her bridal veil.
2. The wall of plug sockets
For anyone who have ever been ill hospital, this gaffe in Coronation Street will be highly amusing.
During a scene with Pat Phelan and Andy Carver in hospital, fans were quick to take to Twitter after they spotted something unusual behind Pat’s bed.
Instead of focusing on what was going on in the scene, some viewers couldn’t take their eyes off all of the plug sockets behind him – saying that would never happen in a REAL hospital.
3. The reappearing phone numbers
When Jay Brown received two calls from other characters in EastEnders, the sharp-eyed audience noticed something oddly familiar.
When the call from Billy came through, the phone number was shown as Jay went to cancel the call.
Then just seconds later the camera zoomed in on Masood’s mobile as he called his ex-wife Zainab – both numbers were 07847 678781.
Instead of focusing on what was going on in the scene, some viewers couldn’t take their eyes off all of the plug sockets behind him – saying that would never happen in a REAL hospital.
4. Anna using her crutches the wrong way round
Crutches are so simple to use, they shouldn't need an instruction manual but unfortunately for Corrie's Anna Windass, she got herself into a spot of bother with hers.
Anna, who had to re-learn to walk following the horrifying fireball incident that left her suffering burns all up her legs, was seen hobbling around her living room with great difficultly.
And is it any wonder she found the task difficult as she was using them back-to-front.
5. Rain on a bright blue-skied day
As Emmerdale's most familiar faces gathered for James' memorial service and killer Emma Barton paid tribute to the man she killed, viewers found themselves distracted by the weather.
As the coffin was lowered into the ground, the mourners were pelted with rain but as the camera panned to the villain, it was obvious the downpour was fake as the skies were blue with no clouds.

6. When Ben forgot her was already deaf
It should have been a tense for EastEnders fans as Ben Mitchell comes up against his captors but the audience were left baffled by what he said.
Ben can be seen sitting on the ground holding his arm after being roughed up by the thugs who were also responsible for his boyfriend Paul Coker’s death.
"It doesn't have to be like this," the ringleader shouts to Ben.
"You and your mate could just walk away..."
To which Ben replied: "So long as I suddenly go deaf, blind and stupid so far as you lot are concerned?"
But the line is completely pointless as Ben is ALREADY deaf making.
7. The daylight after a hen party
The ladies from Coronation Street donned their best glad rags and headed out for a booze-filled night at the local club to celebrate Carla's hen party.
But after hours of boozing, dancing and generally misbehaving by the clubbers, Weatherfield residents were still waking about in BROAD DAYLIGHT.
So either the sun never sets on the mean streets of Weatherfield or Carla’s hen night kicked off incredibly early and got messy very quickly.
8. The Christmas panto with no audience
When Denise organised her Christmas pantomime at the local community centre she wanted to make sure all of the EastEnders involved.
But when viewers watched the episode, they started to wonder who would actually be watching the play as the whole of Albert Square will be performing.
9. The plot holes in Maria and Caz's storyline
The lesbian storyline between Maria Connor and Caz has got a lot of people talking but that's mostly for the sheer ridiculousness of the whole thing.
And fans finally had enough in the episode when Caz breaks in to Maria's flat so she can frame her for a murder she didn't do.
After Caz snuck into Maria’s house, she cut her hand open and left blood-stained scissors in hairdresser Maria’s work bag.
But viewers felt unable to suspend their belief that far, pointing at that if Maria hadn’t yet returned home from work yet her tools would still be with her and not in the flat.
10. Sharon's hygiene
Sharon decided to spruce up her home ready for husband Phil’s return home, she charged into the kitchen wearing bright pink marigolds and clutching a bottle of bleach, before she announced: “Right that’s the toilets bleached – I don’t want noone using it until your dad gets home.”
But then, the EastEnders character headed past the table, where Phil’s kids were sat having breakfast and dived into a cupboard.
Without binning her dirty handgear, she pulled out a bright yellow box of Corn Flakes and proceeded to open the cardboard packet.
