THE Queen’s 90th birthday street party today could be a wash-out after warnings of flash floods.
Her Majesty’s 10,000 Patron’s Lunch guests on Pall Mall may be forced to run for cover.
Forecasters are warning of almost an inch of rain an hour as showers hit.
They will spread from the South West across much of England and Wales and are expected to deluge London at about lunchtime.

It is set to be muggy, with highs of 24°C (75°F).
Met Office expert Luke Miall said: “There’s a yellow warning for rain covering anywhere from Dorset across to London and East Anglia and as far north as Cumbria.
“We’re expecting some heavy showers and there could be flash floods.”
Some areas had heavy rain yesterday, a downpour disrupting a parade in Lymm, Cheshire.
