AMAZON Prime's video service offers thousands of hours of on-demand TV and films, with original series like Transparent and The Man in the High Castle featuring alongside classics such as Frazier and Family Guy.
New shows will be aired on the service this month and some favourites are due to return, so check out the list below to see what to expect from September on Amazon Prime.
MANHATTAN
When is it on?: Manhattan can be view on Amazon Prime from September 1.
What season are we up to?: The show is now into its second season, but the first season can still be viewed on Amazon.
How long are the episodes?: The length varies, but episodes are usually between 45 and 55 minutes long.
Who is in it?: The show stars Rachel Brosnahan (House of Cards, The Blacklist, Orange is the New Black), Michael Chernus (Captain Phillips, Orange is the New Black), and Christopher Denham (Shutter Island, The Good Wife).
What's it about?: The show is set against the backdrop of the race to build the world's first nuclear bomb. Flawed scientists and their families lives become overrun with secrets and lies.
THE COLLECTION
When is it on?: The show is on Amazon Prime from September 2.
What season are we up to?: This is the first season so eager viewers won't have missed a thing.
How long are the episodes?: The individual episodes will be around an hour in length.
Who is in it?: Rosie Boore, Richard Coyle (The Fall, A.D. The Bible Continues), Tom Riley (Starfish, Da Vinci's Demons)

ONE MISSISSIPPI
When is it on?: This dark comedy graces our screens from September 9.
What season are we up to?: This will be the first one.
How long are the episodes? Each episode is roughly 25 minutes long.
Who is in it?: Tig Notaro (Lady Dynamite, Transparent), Noah Harpster (Grassroots, Longmire), John Rothman (Good Kids, Deadbeat)
What's it about?: This dark comedy is loosely based on the lead actress Tig Notaro's life. It follows her as she deals with the death of her mother whilst her own health is on the decline.
LUCIFER
When is it on?: This devilish show returns to our screens on September 20.
What season are we up to?: Lucifer is now coming up for its second series.
How long are the episodes?: Each episode of Lucifer is roughly 45 minutes long.
Who is in it?: Tom Ellis (Miranda, Rush), Lauren German (Hawaii Five-o, Hostel Part II) , DB Woodside (Suits, Single Ladies)
What's it about?: Lucifer Morningstar, the Lord of Hell, is bored of life on the throne and so takes up work as an LAPD detective. The very thought that he could care about a human being disturbs, but "he's having too much fun to stop now".
TRANSPARENT
When is it on?: This popular comedy returns on September 23
What season are we up to?: The show is back for it's third series.
How long is each episode?: The comedy's individual shows are each around 30 minutes long.
Who is in it?: Jeffrey Tambor (Apartment Troubles, Cassius and Clay), Amy Landecker (Dreamland, Project Almanac), Gaby Hoffmann (Girls, All that I am)
What's it about?: The pfefferman family patriach turn's his family's life upside down by announcing himself as a transgender. The entire family's secrets begin to spill out and their roles and sense of identities change.
CRISIS IN SIX SCENES
When is it on?: This comedy arrives on September 30
What season are we up to? The show will hit our screens in its first series.
How long is each episode?: Each episode is 30 mins long
Who is in it?: Woody Allen (writer of Annie Hall, Midnight in Paris, Stardust Memories), Rachel Brosnahan (House of Cards, The Blacklist, Manhattan)
What's it about?: Crisis in Six Scenes has been created by Woody Allen and is set in the 1960s during turbulent times in the USA. A middle-class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their lives upside down.
