Apple set to ‘scrap ANOTHER vital connection’ after removing iPhone 7 headphone jack
It looks like Apple may not just stop at the iPhone and could change the connections on their MacBook Pro

According to , the tech giant is planning on launching its new MacBook Pro later this month, but without the inclusion of a USB port.
The blog believes the company is set to announce on 27th October that they are going to ditch traditional USB ports in favour of the USB-C and the Thunderbolt 3.

This has already happened on the 12" MacBook, which currently has the grand total of zero USB ports, meaning users are no longer capable of connecting many forms of keyboard, mouse, or other external hardware.
If you want to connect your laptop to a traditional USB, you will need to buy a £15 adapter from Apple.
While this has only been rumoured, many consumers have already taken to Twitter to air their disappointment at the possible removal of such an integral port.
If Apple does remove its USB port it will act as a way of ensuring consumers become leashed to .
On the plus side, it is also believed that Apple is set to include a 'Dynamic Function Row' which replaces the top row of keys with an OLED touchscreen.
The usage of the funciton row will be determined depending on the software you're using, meaning there could be the chance to create shortcuts for software functions at the press of a button.
