Apple iPhone is hiding incredible ‘secret’ that you’re not allowed to use
You almost certainly won't have ever known about this

THERE is a 'secret' function in your iPhone that you're not allowed to use.
As smartphone screens have got larger, many manufacturers have included a 'one-handed' mode that moves keys to one side of the screen so that those with diminutive digits can type without resorting to using both thumbs at once.
Microsoft has developed one, Google's new Pixel phones have one as their Android OS has supported the feature for years, but not many people know Apple has also implemented one-handed keyboard to go with the 'Reachability' one-handed operation mode that has been part of iOS since at least 2014 when the firm launched the extra-large iPhone 6 plus.
Steve Troughton-Smith, a developer from Ireland, spotted the code when using an iOS simulator.
It is believed the code has been there since iOS 8 but has not been widely advertised.
Users should be able to access the keyboard by swiping the side of the screen, but the feature is disabled in the stock version of the operating system.

Troughton-Smith has created a way for users to access the feature - but it only works for those who have 'jailbroken' their iPhones.
Jailbreaking is a process by which users can remove the restrictions placed on their devices by either Apple or their operator - but the tech firm views such actions as "a violation of the iOS end-user software license agreement" and claims it could result in warranty services being denied.
