Owner of Nike ‘Back to the Future’ self-lacing Mag trainers too ‘paranoid’ to wear them
Man who won super sneakers in lottery 'treats his shoes like a newborn baby'

THEY are the trainers which could be more valuable than Carrie Bradshaw or Imelda Marcos' entire footwear collection.
So it's little wonder that the new owner of a pair of the Nike self-lacing sneakers dreamed up for Back to the Future II would handle them with care.
Now one of the 89 lucky people who won a lottery to get his hands (but not feet) on a pair has revealed that he's too "paranoid" to wear both shoes, because selling a mint pair could net him $100,000 (£81.6 thousand).
In a , the winner said: "It's just every kid's dream that grew up watching Back to the Future.
"Auto-lacing shoes, like, this is it."
The man, , entered the lottery after a co-worker "hit him up", which isn't as painful as it sounds.
He added: "I forgot about it and then he was like: 'hey, a pair sold in Hong Kong for $104,000.'
"And I'm like: 'that's insane.'"
"It's was my day off and I'm, like, just chilling, checking my email and I like scroll down and it says 'you won the Nike Mag.'
"So I immediately posted that on Twitter and people were just going nuts.
"I got offers for $10,000, $20,000 and then others started fighting with the people who made those offers, telling me not to take less than $50,000."
In the video he's shown putting one of the shoes on, but not both.
"I have to find a safety deposit box to put these things in," Chris continued.
"I'm paranoid about everything."
Luckily for the world, Chris also decided to share his analysis of the aesthetics of Nike's mega pricey trainers.
"They look so nice," he concluded.
"I feel like I'm wearing a damn snow boot, but I guess that's what the future is."
