Brave siblings who fled Mosul from ISIS invaders are now at the frontline of the battle to help displaced Iraqi children
Zina and Nisreen know too well the fear of fleeing barbaric extremists ... so now they're helping children going through the same ordeal

WHEN ISIS invaded Mosul in June 2014, Zina and Nisreen's lives were turned upside down.
The girls – then aged 18 and 17 - were forced to flee the city to escape persecution, eventually reaching safety in northern Iraq.
Today, home is a small tent in Khanke camp where they are living among 18,000 other displaced Iraqis.
When The AMAR Foundation — which The Sun is backing in our Smiles At Christmas appeal — opened a Healthcare Centre within the camp, both sisters volunteered.
They received basic medical training, and now visit local families to provide basic checkups, vaccinations and vital health information, helping to ensure the camp residents stay healthy.

Commenting on the situation children are facing in the camp, Zina said: “There are so many children living here, and many of them find it really difficult to understand what has happened and why they can’t live in their own homes anymore.
"It’s very sad to see, and it’s really important we work to make sure they are happy and healthy, and receive all the care they need.”
