A MUM who vanished with her abusive lover and newborn baby weeks after appearing on Jeremy Kyle "should've listened to the host", her distraught mother says.
Kayleigh Jones, 28, was heavily pregnant when she was reported missing from Wales along with her violent partner Austin Edwards, 33, on June 14.
It is believed she gave birth to a baby girl while on-the-run - with cops confirming yesterday they had all been found "safe and well".
But her tormented mum Maria Worrell, 54, has revealed she fears for the life of her daughter and baby grandchild while Edwards is still on the scene.
The troubled couple had appeared on the ITV show in April - with sobbing Kayleigh revealing how Austin's physical and mental abuse led to their four children being taken away.
Maria told The Sun Online: "Jeremy Kyle was very kind to Kayleigh, he felt sorry for her.
“I wanted her to go on the show so she could see Edwards for what he is, a violent man.
“Jeremy Kyle was nice to her, not just by giving her biscuits.
“He told her to get out of the relationship but she didn’t listen.”

Kyle tried to comfort Kayleigh with a plate of biscuits as she told how her drug-addicted partner told her what to wear and when to go to bed.
The chat show host told her she would end up "dead on the floor" after emotional Kayleigh broke down as she revealed Edwards had hit her just a few days before.
She also wept as she told how he once "punched her to pieces" so hard she needed an X-ray after one of their children was born.
Kayleigh added: "He tells me when to go to bed, when to wake up, what to wear."
Maria had appeared on the show with Kayleigh's sister to urge her to stay away from Edwards, saying: "Get away from him before he kills you."
The mum confronted Edwards backstage and branded him "scum" and a "rat" as she told him her daughter is "too good for you".
Just weeks later, mum-of-14 Maria said she received a phonecall from cops saying her pregnant daughter had sought sanctuary in Swansea Police Station after being beaten up by Edwards.
Describing the abuse, the anxious mum, who hasn't slept for two weeks from worry, said: "He regularly hits her, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
“He won’t let her out of his sight, he even follows her to the bathroom while she’s washing or on the loo.”
She took her daughter back to her home in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, but hasn't "seen or heard from her since" after pregnant Kayleigh ran away with Edwards to Luton, Beds.
Maria revealed she is "relieved" her granddaughter and Kayleigh have now both been found but she fears she will never meet the baby if she is taken into care like her four siblings.
She added: "I’ve had a guts full of him. Kayleigh went to a special needs school but he’s quite clever and cunning, he takes advantage of her.
“He’s put her in a corner and she can’t get out.
“I want her to come home to me but not if she’s still with him. I don’t want him near my home.
“She should leave him altogether before he gets her in even more trouble.”
Kayleigh and Edwards' appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show came just weeks before the death of guest Steven Dymond, 63, on May 9.
He is believed to have taken a fatal overdose after failing a love-cheat lie detector test on the show - with pals fearing he took his own life.
ITV axed the Jeremy Kyle Show in the wake of Steven's death, with the broadcaster now asking for more time to investigate.
Kyle spoke in the aftermath of Steven’s death, saying: "Myself and the production team are utterly devastated."
The Jeremy Kyle Show ran on ITV since July 2005 with 16 seasons airing on a daytime schedule.
It often left viewers divided - with some questioning whether Jeremy Kyle helped his guests or subjected them to ridicule.
The presenter signed a new three-year contract with ITV worth a reported £2million a year in 2014 - making him one of the country's highest-earning daytime hosts.
