ZARA Tindall’s impeccable style and down-to-earth personality has raked her in a new lucrative ambassador role.

The daughter of Princess Anne has been announced as an official ambassador for .

Zara, 43, is a long-time fan of the brand and has been spotted wearing their designs for years, particularly at racing events.

To celebrate the news, the royal did a glossy photoshoot at the beautiful Rectory Hotel in Crudwell, north Wiltshire, and was seen wearing a number of the clothing brand’s items.

Included in that was their Ivy Waxed Jacket (£385), their Mini Windsor Handbag (£275) and The Frances Trench Coat (£625).

Zara, who shares Mia, 11, Lena, six, and Lucas, three, with former rugby champion husband Mike Tindall, 46, said she was “delighted” to be an ambassador.

She shared: “I have always liked how they manage to combine timeless elegance with craftsmanship and practicality in their products. 

“This, along with their versatile and stylish designs, makes it the perfect brand (for a rural lifestyle) whether that’s for the casual day to day or smarter look when I’m attending events.”

Fairfax & Favor was founded in 2013 by childhood friends Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker, who saw a gap in the market for a fresh take on modern rural style. 

Renowned for effortless rural style, the company has become the go-to brand for loyal fans and notable names alike.

Founder Macus said: “Zara truly epitomises our brand’s DNA, embodying the blend of timeless rural elegance and contemporary sophistication. 

“Zara has incorporated Fairfax & Favor into her wardrobe for many years.

“We are delighted to now announce an official ambassadorship.”

While the brand deal worth hasn't been disclosed, a PR expert has estimated what Zara could have been paid.

Andrew Bloch, PR expert and  founder of , told Fabulous: "For an annual deal like this for someone of Zara’s profile I would estimate somewhere in the region of £250,000 a year with the potential to increase to around £500,000 depending on the contract length and details of what’s involved – eg: advertising, appearances etc."

Big name brands

This is the latest in a string of brand deals that Zara and Mike - who aren’t senior working royals - have signed up for.

Accomplished equestrian Zara has been an ambassador for Land Rover since 2006 and this collaboration has reportedly earned her approximately £200,000 annually.

Zara became a 2006 ambassador for Rolex Testimonee, representing the luxury watch brand, which is believed to have brought her around £100,000.

She’s also an ambassador for Australian equestrian event Magic Millions Polo and Show Jumping.

This began in 2012 and is said to earn her about £125,000 per year.

Meanwhile her outdoor clothing brand Musto brand deal is estimated to have racked her in £500,000.

In 2022, Mike ­Tindall - who lives with Zara in seven-bedroom Aston Farm on Princess Annee's Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire - became the first royal to advertise pizza.

In the clip, father-of-three Mike was seen arriving at ex-teammate James Haskell’s house in a helicopter carrying a stack of Domino's pizza boxes.

This followed Zara starring in a campaign video for pushchair brand iCandy in 2018.

The equestrian’s appointment for the company as an ambassador came as it released a £1,500 “all-terrain” buggy in collaboration with Land Rover.

The advert started with the Olympic medallist galloping through the countryside and speaking of her love of riding and how she wanted to get back into it after taking a break after maternity leave.

She says: “I do like my family being at events and the iCandy for Land Rover is perfect for our lifestyle. It fits into everything that we are doing."

How Zara & Mike Tindall built a £30m empire

ZARA and Mike Tindall have achieved something that makes them the envy of most in their family and set an example for future generations of royals, according to palace insiders.

Royal expert Richard Palmer told The Sun: "As Zara’s cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan and numerous others have discovered to their cost, it is difficult for members of the Royal Family to make a living outside the Firm without being accused of cashing in on your connections with the monarchy.

"Yet Zara and Mike have managed it, largely without controversy. Down to earth, in touch with ordinary people and their interests, and popular with a wide section of the British public, the couple are estimated to have built up a combined fortune of £30 million via a range of business ventures, sponsorship deals, and endorsements.

"Of course, being related to the King and to the late Queen helps bring in the sponsors and others keen to associate their brands with them.

"Zara and her elder brother Peter Phillips were never going to be a princess or prince because that was only on offer to the children of the monarch’s sons but Anne rejected the Queen’s offer of an Earldom to Captain Mark Phillips before she had Peter.

"It meant there would be no titles for Zara or Peter and they seem to have thrived on it.

"Perhaps more royals in future will consider doing the same when they want a career."
