Mayweather appears to axe ref mid-fight
Fuming Floyd Mayweather appeared to AXE the referee during his rematch with John Gotti III which once again ended in a farce.
Last summer, Mayweather's exhibition with the grandson of notorious New York crime boss John Gotti finished in an all-out brawl.
Gotti III was disqualified for holding and trash-talking before a melee broke out in the ring leading up to a rematch more than 12 months in the making.
And after just two rounds of the rematch in Mexico, it looked to be heading for the same outcome.
Mayweather, 47, landed what looked to be a perfectly legitimate hook on Gotti, 31 - only for the ref to step in and deem it illegal.
Arguments erupted in the ring with the so-called billionaire boxing icon Mayweather left fuming and seemingly sacking the official by demanding he got out of his way so he could carry on.
Mayweather deal to fight three more times
Mayweather revealed prior to his exhibition with Gotti that he has a contract to fight at least three more times.
He said: "We just got a call about a three exhibition deal and it's a crazy number.
"If I was taking abuse and I was getting battered then I think I'd step away."
But he insists he is not only fighting for the money, adding: "Am I doing it for the money? Absolutely not. I'm doing it because this is what I want to do. It's not like I'm hurting.
"And the people are enjoying it, my team is enjoying it and it's good to be able to travel to different places and train and shake hands with different people from all walks of life."
Mayweather's professional record
Floyd Mayweather's exhibition overnight will not go on his professional record.
The American retired after his 50th and final pro bout in 2017 when he stopped Conor McGregor.
He hung up his gloves with a perfect record of 50 wins from 50 fights.
