  • A new KING in Riyadh

That concludes it. We appreciate those who have tuned into our coverage.

What a finale to a wild fight week that included two dropouts and a few dubious choices on fight night.

British fighter Hamzah Sheeraz's chances of winning were slim because he was only able to draw with WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames.

Against late call-ups Martin Bakole and Josh Padley, respectively, Shakur Stevenson and Joseph Parker performed as anticipated.

But the big event was always going to be the focus, wasn't it?

Dmitry Bivol became the undisputed light-heavyweight title after exacting retribution against Artur Beterbiev.

    Trilogy anyone? Yes please!

  • Record KNOCKED away

Artur Beterbiev had a 100% KNOCKOUT ratio for his entire career. Until he faced Dmitry Bivol, who withstand even a single KNOCKDOWN over two fights and 24 rounds.

  • Mutual respect between Beterbiev and Bivol

For those watching, you may have seen a minor confrontation after the fight between the two fighters.

Bivol has addressed what happened and what was said between the two and what it might mean going forward:

"After the fight, I came to Beterbiev I told him Artur I respect you so much because when i was and i came to national team I looked up to you - how you were training and you were number one - and I want to shake your hands and say thanks for this fight

"We shaked hands and he said 'thank you for the fight also and this sport - you're a good fighter also'

"Then we had another talk, he came, but he said 'I will not shake hands now because we will have third fight' and it was in a normal way not arrogant and I said 'no problem'."

The pair were on the same side back in 2012 as part of the Russian national team.

  • 'Greatest performance I've ever seen'

Prompter Eddie Hearn and his fighter Bivol's appreciation for each other is palpable.

Bivol said to TNT Sports after the fight: "I'm one of the (very few) people in boxing history. How I understand it is I'm the first (male undisputed fighter for Matchroom). Eddie's [Hearn] an amazing promoter, I said in the beginning he's the best promoter, and I'm the first undisputed champion (for him)."

While Hearn wrote on social media: ‘So proud of you, @bivol_d. That was the greatest performance I’ve ever seen live. You did it my friend! #undisputed.’

  • 'We're going to do a third fight' - Beterbiev

Well, talks of a trilogy are already in the sights for Beterbiev:

"Now its my time to come back... we're going to do a third fight," said the 40-year-old Russian-Canadian after handing Bivol this rematch following their first bout in October.

  • Trilogy?

It's clear these two make great fights, what about another one?

Well, Bivol is the man to beat. Fights will be already be being presented to his shazzy presenter Eddie Hearn but what should he take.

Canelo Álvarez 2 rematch? There's a notion going around that Bivol has proven it just wouldn't be worth it.

What about David Benavidez? A fight with Beterbiev has apparently been in the works but maybe for the American, who poses a 30-0 record after victory earlier this month, it turns to Bivol instead.

Whatever happens, it will be impossible to resist a final resolution to Bivol and Beterbiev's long-simmering rivalry after these two legendary fighters have recovered from such a demanding and draining encounter.

  • 'History is made with a good opponent' - Bivol

Arguably the best quality in the best winners is awareness. Not just in their craft but about it. Dmitry Bivol who spoke exclusively to The Ring Magazine after his rematch victory over Artur Beterbiev. has it in abundance:

"First fight [in October] I didn't like how I did, second fight I like more; I feel like I could be better than I did today, I feel it.

"But I did enough for the victory today and I'm happy.

"Thank you so much for everyone who was watching this fight - and was cheering for me and even cheering for [Artur] Beterbiev, he is a great fighter.

"Only you can make history about yourself if you have a good opponent, without good opponent, you can not prove [to] people that you are good."

  • Bivol's champ scalps

It is easy to fall into a sense of exaggeration when a fighter gains the attention of Bivol has, but it would be a doing a disservice to his resume if we didn't acknowledge it.

Dmitry Bivol has now beaten two reigning undisputed world champions - Canelo Alvarez and Artur Beterbiev.

  • Crawford congratulates Bivol

Talking about boxing's finest... pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford was in the ring last night to congratulate Dmitry Bivol.

  • Boxing's finest in Bivol

Dmitry Bivol may not have the brute firepower to constantly put opponents to the canvas but what makes him on boxing's finest is the great class, composure and strategy he shows in his fight craft.

Take that 9th round for example, it was a display of technical off-hand and proactive boxing at its best.

You wanted combinations, he gave you that. A bit of pace-setting, don't worry he'll manage the gas. What about some defensive work, weaved out of challenges and reset.

Josh Padley put on a terrific performance in his brave ninth-round defeat by Shakur Stevenson.

And it wasn't long before the late-replacement's remarkable back tattoo caught fans' attention on the PPV.

  • Josh Padley wins new fans

Josh Padley put on the performance of a lifetime to take pound-for-pound American superstar and three-weight king Shakur Stevenson nine rounds.

The 29-year-old Doncaster electrician was crawling through roofs on Tuesday, installing solar powers for a daily rate.

But, when American Floyd Schofield pulled out of the fight with a mystery illness, the fearless super-sub called his long-suffering boss to book a very short-notice holiday for a shot at the WBC lightweight world title and boxing greatness.

Before the shock call came, Padley had plans to work all week and then spend the weekend doing DIY in his new home.

But instead he made mouthy Stevenson look like a flat-pack bully who needed every ounce of strength and skill to overcome a man who does the sport part-time.

  • Bakole wore Dubois's gloves

Martin Bakole’s chief support slot was so hastily arranged that he had to wear DDD’s personalised gloves, complete with ‘DDD’ logo etched in white across the black knuckles.

  • Joseph Parker 'returning in a week'

Joseph Parker spoke to IFL TV backstage straight after his win tonight.

And Parker said he will be back in the gym in just ONE week.
