LUKE LITTLER fell at the FINAL hurdle to Luke Humphries on Night Four of Premier League Darts action in Exeter.
The Nuke dispatched Stephen Bunting in the quarter-final 6-3 and laid out equal destruction for Nathan Aspinall in the semi-final to power through to the blockbuster finale.
However, table-topper Humphries, who edged past Gerwyn Price before ousting Rob Cross in the last four, displayed clinical finishing of his own to go all the way at Westpoint Arena.

What is the Premier League Darts format?
Eight players will compete in Premier League Darts 2025, with the top four of the Order of Merit and four wildcards making up the numbers.
Each of the players will meet each other once in weeks 1-7 and again in weeks 9-15, but fixtures for weeks 8 and 16 are drawn based on league standings.
How each player performs on each night will earn them points which will determine their place in the Premier League table.
Here is how the points system works:
- Winner: 5 points
- Runner-up: 3 points
- Two losing semi-finalists: 2 points
Following the conclusion of week 16, the top four in the Premier League table will secure their tickets to Finals Night.
Finals Night at London's O2 Arena begins with the semi-finals as first in the table takes on fourth and second faces third.
Later, the two remaining players will face off in a blockbuster final to determine the winner of the Premier League.
Who is in the Premier League Darts 2025 line-up?
The top four darts players on the Order of Merit plus four Wildcards make up the eight-player field for the Premier League.

It means two former world champions miss out - in the form of Peter Wright, 54, and Michael Smith, 34, following their alarming slump in form.
Littler confronts fan
The teen's mum Lisa was in the VIP section as usual to hug her son on his way to the stage.
However, as the pair linked up, Littler's mum was barged aside by another fan.
It saw the 18-year-old flare up in anger as his intro music continued playing overhead.
One person said: “Genuinely thought Littler was gonna scrap someone there.”
Another declared: “Is Littler’s mum OK?”

"Luke played fantastic tonight, he didn't play as great in the final but I managed to step on the gas, like I did in the other two games, right at the end of the game," he said.
"Being sat on 15 points after four weeks, that's a dream start for me and hopefully I can keep pushing and keep reeling in the points to guarantee a spot in the top four, because that's all that really matters."

Nobody seemed to have an answer for what he was offering.
