Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Real ‘eye Lewis-Skelly’, Gunners locked in £67m Gyokeres battle, Sesko’s HUGE price tag

ARSENAL are looking ahead to a busy summer transfer window after another trophyless season.

The Gunners are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Gabriel over a long-term deal.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal target Victor Gyokeres, who is available for around £67m.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are said to be interested in a shock move for Myles Lewis-Skelly.

In other news, RB Leipzig have told the Gunners that they must pay £92.5m to sign Benjamin Sesko, according to reports.

  • More on Lewis-Skelly

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Arsenal ace Myles Lewis Skelly's contract situation.

Lewis-Skelly signed his first professional contract in October 2023 until 2026.

Real are now "sniffing around" the situation as they possibly eye another free transfer for an English star after landing Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.

According to , negotiations between the MLS and the Gunners over new terms are "not going well."

And this has left Los Blancos on red alert to sign the England international next year.

  • More on Sesko

Arsenal have been told the fee it would take to sign RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko.

Sesko is among the Gunners' top transfer targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

Leipzig have slapped a £85million price tag on the star striker, but as SunSport understand they are likely to get nearer £60m.

The North Londoners have also been linked with a move for Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, who is said to be valued at no less than £67m.

  • Arsenal offered Sesko

RB Leipzig would love to sell star player Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal next week.

The Bundesliga club have told the Slovenian forward, 21, they are looking for a quick sale so they can start spending the cash at the start of the transfer window.

But the situation is complicated because Arsenal are looking at Sesko and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and are extremely unlikely to sign both as they also need to strengthen elsewhere.

Arsenal could even prioritise trying to sign in-demand £70million rated Gyokeres, meaning Mikel Arteta’s search for a new striker could turn into a saga and Sesko might have to wait.

Gunners boss Arteta wanted to sign Sesko both last summer and in January. Leipzig know the north London club remain interested but there have been no further talks.

Leipzig did speak with Sesko this week and told him he can leave as soon as possible.

But the German club are hoping for £85m, although they are likely to get nearer £60m.

  • Viktor Gyokeres new price

Sporting Lisbon have told interested clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, that Viktor Gyokeres will cost a fee of €80million (£67m).

That is according to The Guardian, who claim Sporting have put Gyokeres' suitors on notice.

The Portuguese champions are willing to cash in on the striker and although they will not seek the full value of his €100m (£84m) release clause, they will still ask for a high fee.

The club’s vice-president Francisco Zenha has said that he is yet to receive an offer for the Sweden international, who has three years remaining on his contract.

  • Real target Lewis-Skelly

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Arsenal ace Myles Lewis-Skelly.

That is according to The Guardian, who claim Real are monitoring Lewis-Skelly ahead of the summer transfer window.

The full-back shone bright during the North Londoners' Champions League quarter-final success against Los Blancos.

The England international's contract expires in 2026 and Arsenal are looking to extend it.

  • Gyokeres favoured over Sesko

Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and Red Bull Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko appear to be the Gunners’ top two targets to lead the line for them next season.

Both have their merits, both would instantly improve Mikel Arteta’s attacking options and both are expected to cost between £60m and £70m.

But, only one is expected to sign on the dotted line in North London over the coming weeks.

SunSport understands that Gyokeres is slightly favoured right now, for a number of reasons.

There is a real belief that a deal for the Swedish international could be pushed through with little complications, given the player’s desire to test himself in one of Europe’s best leagues, as well as at a top team with the ability to seriously challenge in the Champions League.

It is understood that there is a gentleman’s agreement between Gyokeres and Sporting to depart the Stadio Jose Alvalade in this window, having garnered lots of interest last summer, despite still having three years left on his current deal.

  • Arsenal hold 'concrete talks' over Benjamin

The Bavarians remain open to extending Sane’s contract until 2028 – with his current deal running out in June.

The winger, who was linked with Arsenal, had turned down an initial offer of £250,000 per week by Bayern and Tottenham had been offered the chance to bring him back to the Premier League.

The Germany international has yet to make a decision regarding his future.

The Canadian, 25, has confirmed he’ll be leaving his Ligue 1 club on a free transfer this summer.

But it’s claimed Napoli are now the clear frontrunners.

The newly-crowned Italian champions are reportedly in talks with David and confident of agreeing a deal soon.

  • Ademola on list of Gunners options

Ademola Lookman has reportedly been offered to Arsenal.

Lookman has been a revelation in Italy, amassing 20 goals and seven assists in 40 appearances this season.

However, the Gunners are also looking at other wide targets, such as Newcastle's Anthony Gordon Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and especially Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

The Reds have reportedly launched negotiations for Ekitike.

  • Toon tipped to keep Isak

Giant clubs dreaming of signing Alexander Isak face disappointment.

Newcastle are convinced they'll keep the Premier League's highest-valued striker.

Qualifying for the Champions League has given the Magpies more chance of keeping their top stars.

That mainly means Arsenal's ideal recruit Isak.

But it also boosts their hopes of Anthony Gordon staying.

Thee England winger has likewise been linked to Arsenal.

  • Gabriel close to new Gunners deal

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes is tipped to sign a new Arsenal contract.

It's reckoned the 27-year-old Brazilian could pen a deal for five more years.

  • Gunners 'in Sesko talks'

Arsenal are negotiating to sign Benjamin Sesko.

So says transfer guru Fabrizio Romano as the Gunners prioritise recruiting a world class striker this summer.

Romano reckons the Gunners have held "concrete talks" with RB Leipzig over the 21-year-old Slovenian.

Sesko's 21-goal haul this season is under that of rival targets Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen.

  • 'Williams more likely than Gordon'

Nico Williams has been rated a more likelier Arsenal signing than Newcastle's Anthony Gordon.

And a winger is reckoned to be one of Emirates manager Mikel Arteta's transfer priorities - albeit behind a new world-class striker.

And journalist Charles Watts wrote in  that Newcastle should be able to keep all their top players this summer - notably Gordon and forward Alexander Isak.

In contrast, Williams is still regarded as one of Arteta's dream signings - if Arsenal can pull it off.

The Spanish Euro 2024 hero, 22, might cost around £50million.

According to Sky Sports, Zahavi spoke with Bayern sporting director Max Eberl while his other client Jonathan Tah underwent a medical with the German champions..

  • Henry praises Alvarez amid Arsenal links

Arsenal are reportedly pushing to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.

That is great news for Gunners legend Thierry Henry after revealing his appreciation for the former Man City striker, who joined Atletico for £80m last summer.

Henry said on the Overlap: “One of my favourite nines out there at the minute is Julian Alvarez.

“We’ve been talking about it: putting pressure on, playing it long, low, whatever you want to do.

“You see the free-kick he scored the other day? He can hold the ball alone.

“He played at the Olympic Games, he played the Copa America and I don’t hear him saying he’s tired.

“The way he plays it, I just like him. But it is possible [that Arsenal can sign him]? I don’t know.”

  • Nico Williams boost

Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams is reportedly house hunting in London.

This comes amid transfer speculation linking Williams with a move to Arsenal this summer.

The Spain international is high on the Gunners’ summer wishlist – especially if they move on from Gabriel Martinelli.

But Leipzig have set an astronomical price tag for their highly sought-after forward.

The Red Bull outfit are demanding a whopping €110 million (£92m) for the Slovenian international.

Liam Delap has voiced his preference to join Chelsea instead of Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.

Delap, 22, is one of the most sought after talents in the Premier League after scoring 12 goals for Ipswich this season.

If Chelsea are to complete the signing of Delap then it could end their interest in Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres.

  • Sane's stats

Arsenal are reportedly exploring a move for former Manchester City forward Leroy Sane.

The German winger is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer and looks set to depart.
