The runners all gathered at the start for this one.
Lossiemouth's chance
The mares are heading to the 2m4f start.
Rich Ricci tells ITV he hopes Lossiemouth 'isn't too keen'.
On her coming to this race instead, Willie Mullins told Sporting Life: "A lot has happened in the last week in racing.
"We decided at the last minute to let Lossiemouth take her chance in the Mares’ Hurdle where Paul indicated he would like to ride her and that was a big part of the decision-making process.
"She comes here off a fall at Leopardstown but hopefully she can put all that behind her and repeat last year’s success."

'Expected'
Lizzie Kelly told she expects Rachael Blackmore to add to her Cheltenham win tally this week and reckons the next race provides a 'nice chance'.
She said: "I do expect Rachael Blackmore to add to her tally of Cheltenham wins.
"Rachael predominantly rides for Henry De Bromhead and has had the majority of her success with him. Henry does an amazing job of getting his horses fresh and well for Cheltenham.
"He's a master when it comes to preparing for the festival. He's got an interesting horse running on the first day, July Flower. I think July Flower’s got quite a nice chance in the Mares' Hurdle."
Templegate tip!
Provided she is over her fall at Leopardstown last time, LOSSIEMOUTH is a different class to these mares.
She was an excellent winner of this race 12 months ago on top of her victory in the 2023 Triumph Hurdle.
It’s fair to say she was being trained for the Champion Hurdle this season which is why she took on Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton.
The drop to 2m didn’t seem to be ideal and she took a little while to get going before finishing strongly, just over two lengths behind.
It was too far out against State Man last time to know what would have happened before her tumble but she seemed to be going best of the pair at the time.
If she’s anywhere near her best, there’s nothing in this field who can trouble her.
3.20 Mares Hurdle
Some really nice sorts in here, all headed by the superstar mare.
Here's how they bet, with Lawrence Lyons of BoyleSports who said: “We were breathing a sigh of relief when Majborough’s Arkle defeat scuppered the accumulator that threatened an Armageddon scenario on day one.
"But we’re in little doubt that Willie Mullins will be a thorn in our side as the week goes on and punters are hopeful that Lossiemouth is going to get them back on the front foot.”
3.20 Mares Hurdle
- Lossiemouth - 8/11
- Jade De Grugy - 5/1
- July Flower - 7/1
- Joyeuse - 10/1
- Kala Conti - 10/1
- Dysart Enos - 25/1
- Take No Chances - 25/1
- Jetara - 33/1
- Queens Gamble - 40/1
- Gala Marceau - 50/1

Onto the girls
And it's the Mares' Hurdle next with another odds-on shot in Lossiemouth.
Plenty of 'should she, shouldn't she' involved here with regards to her running in this one and not the Champion Hurdle.
Which maybe suggests she's not quite firing on all cylinders after a fall last time out...
Myretown wins the Ultima
An absolute touch for Myretown backers, backed off the boards all day!
And a huge win for Patrick Wadge at the festival, and he told ITV: “He was brilliant. His jumping hasn’t been the best in his career but I just let him wing fences.
“He made a mistake down the back but other than that, wow. A dream come true, I’ve dreamt of this forever.
“I can’t put it into words.”
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Wow wow wow!
Myretown heads to the last and pings it and he's kicking clear up the hill.
A hugely competitive first handicap of the week on paper. Not on the track though....
MYRETOWN powers home to win EASY for Scotland!
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Myretown attacked by two on his outside towards two out.
But the button is pressed and Myretown kicks clear over that and down to the last!
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Plenty with chances turning down the side with three to jump.
Still Myretown in front with The Changing Man and Happygolucky.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
The Changing Man in a front wave of three alongside the well-backed Myretown.
They head off on their second circuit but they'll avoid the first fence down the back.
Farouk D'Alene pulled up.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Zanahiyr is a faller at the third.
About 15 lengths first to last with Trelawne detached at the back.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Guard Your Dreams a faller at the first.
The other 23 all over fine but well strung out.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
AND THEY'RE OFF - AT LAST!
2.40 Ultima Handicap
All a bit ugly now as they aren't then in a line as some attempt to go again.
Now we're going to have a standing start, for these long distance chasers.
And 24 of them in line. It all looks so very silly.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Boos ring out from the crowd as a false start is called.
In fairness to the starter, he never had his flag raised at all as they trotted in.
2.40 Ultima Handicap
Plenty of noise down at the start as the jockeys battle for position.
With still 90 seconds to a start!
2.40 Ultima Handicap
A max field of 24 runners and they're all gathered at the start.
3m 1f ahead of them, it'll be speedy to start with but also a test of stamina. Plenty in with a chance!
Templegate tip!
BROADWAY BOY can put his excellent Cheltenham form to good use.
He landed two nice prizes here last season and kicked off this campaign with an excellent third in a hot handicap.
He then ran an absolute belter in the Hennessy at Newbury when beaten less than two lengths into second.
He then returned to quickly when fourth here last time but has wisely been given a break since.
His liking for the track and running up with the pace will take him a long way.

Bookies rejoice
That result has saved them an almighty payout.
And if I'm honest, I thought Majborough was the only certainty of the four. Yikes!
Anyway, a good betting race for the third race, the Ultima at 2.40!
