Kopek Des Bordes remains in front and is being pushed out.
William Munny goes to the far side and is chasing him down but just won't get there.

Kopek Des Bordes takes it up and jumps the last in front.
William Munny in the Marine Nationale colours is chasing him and is just over a length down heading up the run-in!

ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!
The 2025 Cheltenham Festival is underway!
1.20 Supreme Novices' Hurdle
The starter is ready, the punters are ready - the horses and jockeys are at the start and are ready....
He joins them
Salvator Mundi is now headed to post.
Ready for a start...
Templegate tip!
Henry De Bromhead is streets Ahead in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
His WORKAHEAD can stun hotpot Kopek Des Bordes who could boil over in the electric Festival atmosphere.
He was fizzy at Leopardstown last time and Cheltenham will be a test. Horses wearing headgear have a poor record too.
That gives my fancy a chance to build on his hammering of William Munny last time with Romeo Coolio another danger.
Heading to post
Just a minute or so until the start and the runners are heading down to post.
Salvator Mundi isn't with them, though. He's headed back to the pre-parade ring...
In the parade ring
The runners are circling ahead of the first.
As you can imagine, it's packed down there as punters try to get any final pointers.
Prelim watch
The Racing Post say Kopek Des Bordes is behaving himself in the pre-parade ring.
That'll be music to the ears of his backers, having got worked up on his previous starts.
He's also been good in the paddock, with Megan Nicholls telling ITV Racing: "He's a massive paddock positive. I'm really impressed."
ICYMI
Here's what Willie Mullins told about Kopek Des Bordes chances.
He didn’t jump great on his first run over hurdles at Christmas but was a lot better next time at the Dublin Racing Festival. He showed a huge amount of ability at the top level that day and must come here with a favourite’s chance. We’ve put a hood on him at home and it seemed to work well so he wears it at Cheltenham.
Sporting LifeAnother Corach Rambler?
Lucinda Russell told ITV: “I don’t know but he is phenomenal!
“I wasn’t keen about running him but someone said to me ‘let’s take it on’. I just didn’t think he’d be man enough for it!”
Market movers
Kopek Des Bordes is amongst the big movers, according to ITV.
- 1.20: Kopek Des Bordes - 4/5 from 11/10
- 2.40: Katate Dori - 15/2 from 17/2
- 4.00 Brighterdaysahead - 15/8 from 9/4
- 4.40 Stencil - 10/3 from 11/2
- 4.40 Liam Swagger - 12/1 from 16/1
Ahead of the curve?
We've not even mentioned Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore yet!
That changes now, with the pair teaming up with a lively contender in the opener with Workahead - now the third favourite with most bookmakers and seeing considerable support.
Blackmore told Betfair: "It was brilliant to win the first race on the first day of last year's Cheltenham Festival on Slade Steel, and it's great to have such a good ride in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle again this year.
"Workahead ran well on his first run for Henry when he finished third behind last year's Champion Bumper winner Jasmin De Vaux in a maiden hurdle at Navan in early December, and he showed the benefit of that experience when he won a good maiden hurdle at Leopardstown at Christmas.
"That race has worked out well since. The runner-up William Munny won a listed hurdle at Punchestown three weeks ago, the third horse, Springt De La Mare, is two for two over fences since, and the fourth horse was Redemption Day, the Punchestown Champion Bumper winner who won his maiden hurdle at Naas on Sunday. It's strong form."
Onto the first!

Michael O'Sullivan tribute
Sky Bet were terrific in allowing the opener to be renamed The Michael O'Sullivan Supreme Novices.
The much-loved rider died aged 24 last month as a result of injuries suffered in a fall.
Today's jockeys have just lined up at the course for a moment's applause for O'Sullivan, with understandably plenty of emotion.
RIP, Mikey.

Kopek Des Bordes is looking to get the Day One big four-fold off to a winning start in just under an hour or so.
And trainer Willie Mullins adds a hood to the Supreme favourite but reckons he's in with a 'favourite's chance'.
He told Sporting Life: "He didn’t jump great on his first run over hurdles at Christmas but was a lot better next time at the Dublin Racing Festival.
"He showed a huge amount of ability at the top level that day and must come here with a favourite’s chance. We’ve put a hood on him at home and it seemed to work well so he wears it at Cheltenham."
60 minute warning
The 2025 Cheltenham Festival gets underway in one hour!
We've had his top two...
Now Templegate gives us his treble bet - the horse he'd add to his two top bets of day one to make up a treble.
And it's a cracking price for the three of them too!
"BROADWAY BOY (2.40) can put his excellent Cheltenham form to good use. He landed two nice prizes here last season and kicked off this campaign with an excellent third in a hot handicap.
"He then ran an absolute belter in the Hennessy at Newbury when beaten less than two lengths into second. He then returned to quickly when fourth here last time but has wisely been given a break since. His liking for the track and running up with the pace will take him a long way."
