BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2018 in huge overhaul with nominees now to be revealed live on night
Alastair Cook, Lewis Hamilton, Geraint Thomas and Harry Kane are expected to be the favourites for the gong but face a wait

BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2018 contenders will be revealed live on the night this year in a radical overhaul of the show.
Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan will present the 65th edition on December 16.
In addition, the public will also vote on the newly-created Greatest Sporting Moment of the Year award.
Gongs will also be given for Lifetime Achievement, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, as well as the Helen Rollason award for achievement in the face of adversity.
Director of BBC Sport Barbara Slater said: "BBC Sports Personality of the Year is a much-loved BBC show that is constantly evolving.
"Bringing in these changes allows us to celebrate even further what has been an incredible year of sport whilst also paying tribute to the achievements of individuals.

Alastair Cook ended a glittering career in Test cricket this year, sparking emotional scenes.
While Geraint Thomas became the first Welshman to win the Tour de France.
England's World Cup semi-final run could propel Golden Boot winner Harry Kane into contention, while Lewis Hamilton is closing in on fifth world title.
Anthony Joshua, Dina Asher-Smith and Lizzy Yarnold have all enjoyed great success, with England's netballers and Europe's Ryder Cup teams sealing historic triumphs.
Tickets go on sale at 09:00 BST on Friday, 12 October, priced at £45 plus admin fee.
