Liverpool vs Manchester City: Michael Owen accuses City’s defence of being blind to danger as they concede after eight minutes at Anfield
Former Etihad defender Richard Dunne joined the attack by claiming his old side focus too much on going forward

MICHAEL OWEN has accused Manchester City's defence of being blind to danger.
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum scored eight minutes into Saturday's Premier League showdown at Anfield to give the hosts the lead at half time.
Former Liverpool striker Owen said: "They don't spot danger quick enough.

"You need comfortable possession. Before the full-backs go high and wide you need to be really safe and in possession but City's defence do it regardless."
Ex-City defender Richard Dunne echoed Owen's views.
He added: "They don't sense danger at all, the City defence. They're always looking, thinking 'if this ball breaks where can we attack?'
"The two full-backs especially are always looking at the next step.
"City have moved the ball too slowly. At times they get into Liverpool's half and the angles are closed down and they need to move a bit quicker."
Wijnaldum rose well above City's Aleksandar Kolarov to head home Adam Lallana's cross.
And Owen believes the Serb in particular was at fault for the goal.
He told BT Sport: "Manchester City led to their own downfall - Kolarov making the mistake, but it was a brilliant sweeping move."
Dunne explained: "He [Kolarov] gets back in position but he gets caught on his heels and Wijnaldum is on the move and the ball in is brilliant. It's a great header.
"From City's point of view they'll be disappointed they had the ball on the edge of Liverpool's box then conceded themselves."
