Confirmed: Anderson Silva set to face Daniel Cormier at UFC 200

JUST when you thought this fight week couldn't get any crazier, now there's this.
Hot on the heels of Jon Jones' removal from UFC 200 following a failed drug test, a number of UFC stars have taken to social media to ask for the short-notice fight.
And - in the form of former middleweight champion and pound-for-pound superstar Anderson 'The Spider' Silva.
The report suggests the fight will be a non-title contest, with discussions currently ongoing over the weight the bout will be contested at.
Former middleweight champ Silva has fought successfully at 205lbs before, defeating James Irvin, Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar on separate forays into the light-heavyweight class.
And now, if reports from Brazil are to be believed, we could be about to see the 41-year-old legend making the step up once again to face Cormier, whose dream title unification bout with Jones went by the wayside following news of 'Bones' doping infringement.

Meanwhile, the new main event of UFC 200 is now confirmed as Brock Lesnar v Mark Hunt.
