Rio Olympics 2016: Nile Wilson claims historic bronze with first British Olympic medal in the horizontal bar

NILE WILSON created history tonight by becoming the first Briton to win an Olympic medal in a high bar event by sealing bronze in the horizontal bar.
The 20-year-old from Leeds was appearing in his first Games, and finished behind Germany's Fabian Hambuechen and Danell Levya of the US.
It wasn't the only medal Britain won in the gymnastics tonight - just 50 minutes before Wilson's triumph Amy Tinkler pulled off the performance of a lifetime to land bronze in the Floor Final.
More from the Olympics
Tinkler, 16, is the youngest member of the entire Team GB squad. Halfway through the competition, Tinkler was in the gold medal position.
And it took the combined talents of American pair Simone Biles and Alexandra Raisman to edge her into third spot.
Biles won her FOURTH gold in Rio with her stunning routine on the floor.
