Microsoft Teams down updates — Hundreds of users reported issues with 365 applications including SharePoint and Office

THOUSANDS of users reported issues with Microsoft 365 around 3pm yesterday afternoon.
Hundreds of Microsoft users also experienced outages accessing Teams, per .
Other Microsoft applications including Microsoft Store, SharePoint, and Office were reportedly down.
As of 5pm, the problems appeared to be resolved.

"We've become so reliant on others technology that we aren't even given the access to resolve our own issues."

Reports beginning to decline
Outages for Microsoft Teams are beginning to decline.
Reports peaked at over 300 at 3pm but have now dropped to under 100, per .

Users share frustration on Downdetector
Microsoft users have taken to the comment section on to complain about Microsoft.
One user wrote: "This is the 1st time in Many, Many, years that I can honestly say, Microsoft is one of the most Unstable & Inconsistent platforms my business uses now.
"Google is looking better and better by the day."
Another frustrated user wrote: "its an actual issue how often their applications are down."
Reported problems
42 percent of users have reported problems with Outlook, 35 percent have reported issues with SharePoint, and 23 percent have reported problems with the website.

As of 3.30pm more than 500 Microsoft users have reported issues with 365 applications including SharePoint and Office, per Downdetector.
Users report issue resolved
Several Microsoft Teams users have taken to the comment section of to report that their issues are now resolved.
One user commented: "Mine just started working."
The outage reports on Downdetector have also plummeted, although over 1,500 reports are still noted as of 9am ET Wednesday.
Users left frustrated with Team
Around 51 percent of reports noted issues surrounding the website.
Another 26 percent of reports flagged problems with logging in.
The remaining 22 percent reported concerns regarding the app.
Teams users from around the globe shared their frustration in Downdetectors comments section.
"Operation failed with an unexpected error in New Jersey," one person remarked.
"Same, down here in Medellin Colombia," a second user commented.

According to Downdetector, people are having trouble accessing the system.
Microsoft 'investigating' Teams outage
Microsoft has said it is investigating the outage some people are facing when trying to access Teams.
The company said: "We're investigating an issue where some users may be unable to access Microsoft Teams using web browsers.
"Further details can be found under TM612617 in the admin center."

Following yesterday's Microsoft 365 outage, the Teams service is today facing issues, according to DownDetector.
Currently, over 1,000 complaints have been made across the US and UK.
Professional users report issues
In the comment section, professionals who use Microsoft 365 are reporting issues with the platform.
"I see the reports are way above average this morning for the last week today, what issues with O365 are we seeing specifically?" one user commented.
"More Outlook connectivity issues? because I can't tell, it's not been fixed yet for our users."
"My Admin Health Dashboard is deceptionaly green. (made up word to fit the moment)"
Microsoft 365 addresses issue
Microsoft 365 Status shared a statement on Twitter addressing the reported issues.
Most issues are with Outlook
64 percent of complaints on involve Outlook.
21 percent of issues reported are with the website.
15 percent of users are having trouble with the login.
