A TV channel devoted to everything Christmas is already coming back to UK screens.

GREAT! Christmas relaunches every year but for 2024 it's returning earlier than ever.

And viewers are saying it's simply "too soon".

"Hold on we haven’t passed Halloween yet for Christmas," one person wrote on X.

Though others welcomed the channel, saying: "I don't mind, I can watch Christmas films anytime of year, I don't see why people think they should only be watched at Christmas.

"Of course though, the obvious answer is if you think it's too early don't watch, simples!"

The schedule of movies has not yet been confirmed but in previous years GREAT! Christmas has shown feel good low-budget TV movies.

This year, the channel will return to screens on September 5 - a whole 110 days before the big day itself.

And it's the earliest it's ever launched, having come to screens on September 7 last year and on September 8 the year before that.

It'll run until January 8.

And it'll be available on Sky, Virgin Media and Freeview.

Viewers will also be able to stream the channel via Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels.

For anyone who wants a bit of early Christmas cheer on their screens, streaming is the obvious answer.

If you subscribe to Netflix, there are secret codes that will find you all the Christmas content they have available.

And there are various sub-categories, such as British Christmas movies or Twisted Christmas content.
