Roblox down updates: Hundreds of users report server not working and experience connection error
HUNDREDS of Roblox players have reported outages and connection error.
Furious game players have complained that the server is not working.
Data on Downdetector showed a huge spike in issues with the platform just after 10am.
Many are complaining Roblox's website will not load.

Roblox is back
Some fans have reported that the servers are working again.
One person wrote: "It's back on now everyone!"
The rest of the users followed with their happy updates that the game is back on.
Reports dropping
Roblox outages have peaked at around 11am and have been slowly decreasing since.
However, some fans are still complaining online that they're struggling to load the game.
Mixed messages
Gamers took to X, former Twitter, to find out if everyone was experiencing issues with Roblox.
One person asked: "Anyone have Vodafone broadband and can't load Roblox? It's been down since this morning."
Another person replied: "Yes same issue for us too. Hopefully fixed soon. Kids not happy."
But a third user wrote that the problem lies with Roblox itself rather than the network provider.
When was Roblox first released?
Roblox was actually released back in 2006 but was somewhat overlooked amid the rise of other online gaming platforms.
But it began to climb up the charts in the later part of the 2010s and really came to public notice during the Covid-19 pandemic when kids were stuck at home with nothing to do.
It was estimated to have had over 164m monthly users in August 2020 and half of all children under 16 in the United States are said to have played it
Most reported problems
According to Downdetector website, most users are experiencing trouble connecting to the server.
Some of the gamers have also complained about accessing the website.
Gamers blame Vodafone for the outage
Most of the players experiencing issues with connectivity are using Vodafone for their broadband.
Gamers have blamed the network provider for Roblox outage as their servers could be overloaded.
One person wrote: "That's actually so intriguing how it's only vodafone users."
Another user said: "The Amazon websites are bugging and Roblox runs with Amazon. Vodafone had too much AWS servers open and fried their own AWS boards."
Fans' fury
Fans have expressed their frustration as they are unable to connect to the game.
One person wrote: "Dear Roblox, I am absolutely FED UP with your garbage servers!
"How is it that in 2025, a multi-billion-dollar company still can’t keep its game running smoothly?
"Every single time I try to play, I get disconnected, experience insane lag, or get hit with the dreaded "Lost Connection to the Server" message. Are you seriously telling me you can’t afford to fix this nonsense?"
Reports spiked after 10am
Over 700 users have reported experiencing issues with Roblox in the UK.
The outage seems to be affecting the server connection the most as well as the website.
