Coronation Street’s Steven Arnold looks baffled as This Morning host Ore Oduba calls him ‘Ashley’ four times

THIS Morning fans were left cringing after Ore Oduba kept referring to Coronation Street star Steven Arnold as his character's name.
The 34-year-old presenter, who hosted the show today with Rochelle Humes, called him 'Ashley' four times during an interview.
Steven, who played Ashley Peacock on Corrie for 16 years starting as a lad back in 1995, was too polite to correct him.
Viewers at home were left cringing as Ore asked: "Do you remember, Ashley, what it was like walking onto those cobbles for the first time?"
He then went on to use Steven's character name instead of his real one another three times.
And when the actor told Ore and Rochelle to "stay safe" at the end of the interview, he replied: "You too, Ashley!"
One fan asked: "Does Ore not realise that Ashley isn’t his real name?"
Another complained: "Ore keeps calling Steven ‘Ashley’ and it’s driving me mad."
A third asked: "Why on earth didn't the producer correct Ore via his earpiece!! He continually called Stephen 'Ashley' throughout the interview."
The mix-up took place during a chat to promote Coronation Street's special episode on double acts. He is appearing in a programme about his character's relationship with Fred Elliott.
