Shock blow for Geordie Shore as ANOTHER cast member quits
The latest cast member to give up wild nights of partying quit the MTV show 'for love'
CHANTELLE Connelly has become the latest Geordie Shore cast member to quit, throwing the MTV show into more chaos.
The 26-year-old sensationally walked out during filming in Kavos on Friday and boarded a plane home to Newcastle to reunite with ex boyfriend Tommy Sayers.
This news comes just one week after The Sun Online exclusively revealed Aaron Chalmers had decided this would be his last series and a month after Charlotte Crosby announced she was leaving.
A show insider tells us: “Chantelle’s heart hasn’t been in it since the cast started filming the new series. She has a lot of history with Tommy and it was either him or the show so she decided to quit for love.”
Before the star boarded her plane back to Newcastle, she was keen to make her relationship 'official' by listing herself in a new relationship on Facebook – with Chantelle commenting: “Love u xxx.”
Despite all the departures on the show, one person set to save the day is Charlotte’s cousin Sophia Kaesei.
A source told The Sun Online: “Sophie can’t wait to return to Geordie Shore, it’s a dream come true for her!
“She didn’t think it would ever happen but the Geordie Shore cast are like family to her and she can’t wait to be reunited with them it’s just a shame Charlotte won’t be there.”
However, while she’s excited for her return it looks like there is likely to be some fireworks when she finally comes face to face with Charlotte’s ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle.
The source added: “Sophie is really not happy about the way Gaz has treated her best mate.
