Celebrity Big Brother house is valued at almost £5million… and only Samantha Fox can afford to live there
An evaluation of the Hertfordshire-based compound found her net worth covered the mortgage

THE Celebrity Big Brother house is worth a whopping £5million – but out of this year’s contestants, only Samantha Fox would be able to afford it.
An evaluation of the Hertfordshire-based compound found that the open-plan house is worth £4,896,425 but the price tag is out of financial reach to the majority of the stars on this year's show.
In fact, only Page 3 legend Samantha Fox would be able to buy it with her estimated net worth estimated at £15million.
This is compared to her fellow housemates whose worth only ranges from £150,000 to £1.5million.
But what gives the CBB house its A-list price tag?
According to Urban.co.uk, who carried out the evaluation, properties in and around Borehamwood location demand a hefty asking price due to its easy transport links and vicinity to the capital.
It boasts 1,285 square metres of interior floor space with spacious and well-maintained gardens complete with an outdoor swimming pool, spa bath and seating areas.
The open-plan layout of the Big Brother House is also a popular feature amongst modern house hunters, providing plenty of space and light and high-end furnishings are what buyers expect to see if they are looking to spend big.
Adam Male, co-founder of said: “It is impossible to compare a reality TV set to a home, but if the Big Brother House were a residential property it really would represent the dream for many UK house hunters!”
