Megan McKenna posts Snapchat about shopping to get over a break-up HOURS before ITV reunion with Pete Wicks
The Towie star can’t seem to make up her mind about her love rat ex-boyfriend
MEGAN McKenna has hinted she’s not back with Pete Wicks despite the pair appearing to reunite during Wednesday’s episode of Towie.
Just hours before the show aired, Megan posted a video of herself talking about how shopping was helping her to get over her break up from the love rat – who was caught sexting model Jacqui Ryland.
Sharing the video with her fans on Wednesday, Megan discussed how retail therapy was helping her get through the tough times.
During her spree, Megan splashed out on at least two pairs of trainers and a new handbag.
However, just hours later, viewers watched as Pete took Megan away to a country retreat to see if he could woo her back.
The scene which aired had been filmed weeks before the video was taken, suggesting the pair's reconciliation hadn't worked out - with Megan showing she was still finding things tough in the video.
On Wednesday's episode however, Pete's attempt to win Megan over appeared to work.
One person even went as far as to share a picture of a mug, writing: “New photo of Megan McKenna #TOWIE.”
During the episode Megan and Pete sat down for a candlelit dinner, with her telling him: “I’ve had a really nice time tonight.”

Pete, who looked pretty pleased with himself, told her: "Trust is going to take time but as I have said to you a thousand times, I’ve got all the time in the world.”
He continued: “I’m not pressuring you, not rushing you, I know exactly what I want and that is you.”
Looking pensive Megan replied: “I hope I can get to a point where I don’t have to worry about that as much.”
At that point 'their song' started playing, leaving Megan in hysterics and then tears.
Looking very emotional, Pete told her: “I know this is cheesy as f**k but how many times have we listened to this and said it would be our first song if we got married.
“I have lost ya and I want you back. I’m not going to stop. Although there is a lot of shit going on , it’s just about me and you.
“Whatever happen is going to affect the rest of my life.
“I’m not particularly good with emotions and feelings but I have nothing to lose now.”
Smiling Megan asked him: “Should we cheers?”
And when he asked her to what, she replied: “To our first date.”
Not all viewers were unhappy with the outcome though - with many really rooting for 'Pegan'.
“I wish people would leave @Megan_Mckenna_ alone, she is crazy in love with Pete. Look at them for goodness sake #TOWIE,” wrote one.
While another tweeted: “Can't help but cry at @Megan_Mckenna_ & @P_Wicks01 tonight absolute love them together!! #towie.”
