Michael Bublé delights Children In Need viewers with heart warming performance

MICHAEL Bublé made a personal appeal on tonight's Children In Need - and viewers were delighted.
The Canadian crooner appeared on the BBC fundraising show despite reports that he would not sing again until his son Noah, 3, had beaten his liver cancer battle.
However, the stripped back performance of God Only Knows was recorded earlier this month before he discovered that his son was unwell.
Introducing his VT, hosts Rochelle and Marvin Humes - who announced yesterday they are expecting their second baby - mentioned the struggle faced by the family.
Rochelle said: "To kick us off we have one of the smoothest and most handsome guys in the business.
"We thank you so much and of course our thoughts are with you at this difficult time for you and your family."
Speaking ahead of his performance, Michael said to the camera: "Hey everybody it's Michael Bublé and I'm delighted to be part of this year's Children In Need."
He then gave a somewhat haunting rendition of The Beach Boys' 1966 classic.
Michael and his wife Luisana revealed their family's secret heartache on Facebook at the start of November, and announced that neither would be working until he was back to full health.
The statement was posted both on Michael’s and Luisana’s pages, and read: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.
“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."
Viewers at home were left in tears after watching Michael sing.
Many tweeted messages of support, with others commending him for doing such a good job even though he had so much going on at home.
