Making A Murderer’s Dean Strang hints he could return to Netflix after Steven Avery sacking
DEAN STRANG has hinted that there’s a chance he could return to the second series of Making a Murderer despite being sacked by Steven Avery.
The lawyer along with his colleague Jerome Buting have become cult icons since their appearance on the first series of the Netflix show, but were dropped by Avery in August last year after he claimed they “didn’t do their jobs properly.”
Now Kathleen Zellner will be seen fighting for the convicted murderer’s innocence in the next series, but the attorney has said he hasn’t ruled out appearing on the show once more.
“I don’t know [if we’re in it],” he told The Express.“
“So probably not to a great extent because I think the story has moved on from the days when myself and Jerry were directly involved in it.”
He added that if the filmmakers want to put him in it he’d be willing to take part again.
“I neither want to be a part of it, nor want to avoid it.
“If the filmmakers think I’ve got something to add to the story [I’d do it]. If not, I’m interested to see what the story is.”
Making A Murderer told the story of inmate Steven Avery claiming he was framed for murder became a small-screen phenomenon.
