STEPHANIE Davis is in police custody after she was arrested for allegedly attacking Jeremy McConnell following an explosive row at a London hotel.
The actress was detained by cops in the north of the capital and taken in for questioning on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Police were called to the Royal Chace Hotel in Enfield late last night to investigate reports of an assault.
They have confirmed a 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to a local station for questioning by officers.
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement obtained by The Sun Online: "Police in Enfield were called to a hotel in The Ridgeway, EN2 at 23:00hrs on Sunday, 2 July following reports of an assault.
"Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of GBH.
"She has been taken to a North London police station for questioning.
"The victim was treated at the scene and did not attend hospital. Inquiries continue."
Steph, 24, is believed to still be in police custody as she is questioned on suspicion of grievous bodily harm amid allegations she attacked her on/off lover Jez.
She has been staying at the hotel in Enfield while she is in the capital filming Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

Steph recently put her problems aside by jetting off on a holiday to Tenerife.
She was seen soaking up the sun in the Spanish island resort just days after Jeremy fell off the wagon and was pictured sleeping on a park bench after a night out.
Jeremy went on a drinking bender after vowing to quit booze for the sake of their young son Caben-Albi.
He was seen “sleeping on park bench” after The Sun Online revealed he’d starting boozing again.
An onlooker said Jeremy “looked dirty and dishevelled, and reeked of booze.”
Tragically his boozing comes just days after troubled Jeremy gave The Sun Online his first interview since entering rehab in March and two weeks after his devastating relapse – vowing to never drink again.
He said: "I felt massively terrible [about my relapse]. It's the last time I ever lift a drink again.
"I was two-and-a-half months sober, which for me was a massive achievement in my sobriety.
"That won't happen again, I will never forget the first time I saw my son and Stephanie after our time apart.”
Jeremy admitted he is desperate to stay off alcohol to be the family man his son deserves.
“Alcohol just doesn’t agree with me, I don’t need it. My personality and charisma without it are good.
“All I want to do is be a family man and provide for my family, and leave that party boy behind.
“I want to be a father figure, and be a dad. With Caben, my mother, my brother, my sister, my dad, they’re all living through him.
“That’s my bloodline. That’s Caben. I grew up in a broken home, I don’t want that for my son.”
The stars met during their stint on Celebrity Big Brother together, and they embarked on a turbulent romance which came to an end last year.
Following the break-up, Steph confirmed she was expecting a baby but Jez distanced himself from his former lover and insisted he wasn't the father.
She gave birth in January, and later revived her romance with Jez as they put the bad blood behind them to try again once more.
But the reunion has been far from smooth as they split again this year, but recently got back together again.
Steph and Jeremy's representatives declined to comment.
