Stephanie Davis axed from Big Brother’s Bit On The Side after Jeremy McConnell row arrest
Steph Davis has been replaced by Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read on tonight's Big Brother's Bit On Side

REALITY star Stephanie Davis has been axed from Big Brother’s Bit On The Side tonight after she was arrested for allegedly attacking Jeremy McConnell.
Bosses of the Channel 5 show dropped her after hearing the news and replaced her with Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read.
Steph, 24, and Jeremy, 27, reportedly had an explosive row at a north London hotel and the actress was detained by police.
She was taken into custody and questioned on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Former Big Brother star Steph was due to appear on its spin-off show as part of the panel this evening and had already done some filming.
She had been staying at the hotel for the programme.
A source said: “It would be wrong for her to appear on the show after this.
“It’s only right the show took her off the panel, to avoid any sort of embarrassing moments.
“It’s a shame this happened as they had already done some filming.
“Tom will be a fantastic replacement and will sure to make for entertaining viewing.”
A Channel 5 spokesman declined to comment.
The Metropolitan Police were called to the Royal Chace Hotel in Enfield late last night to investigate reports of an assault.
They confirmed a 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and take to a local station to be questioned by officers.
It follows Irish model Jeremy being found sleeping on a park bench after going on a boozy bender despite vowing to quit alcohol for the sake of their young son Caben-Albi.
A spokesman for the Met said: “Police in Enfield were called to a hotel in The Ridgeway, EN2 at 23:00hrs on Sunday, 2 July following reports of an assault.
“Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of GBH.
“She has been taken to a North London police station for questioning.
“The victim was treated at the scene and did not attend hospital. Inquiries continue.”
Steph and Jeremy’s representatives declined to comment.
