Devastated Stephanie Davis ‘at rock bottom’ because ex Jeremy McConnell avoided jail for assaulting her

STEPHANIE Davis is “at rock bottom” after watching her ex-boyfriend Jeremy Davis avoid jail today.
Now Steph’s friends have told The Sun Online they’re worried for the former Hollyoaks actress as she struggles to comprehend the outcome.
A source said: “Steph’s absolutely devastated. No one has ever seen her as low as she is now and everyone is worried about her.
“She’s trying to stay strong for Caben-Albi but it’s been so hard for her to cope recently. Right now she is rock bottom.”
Earlier this week The Sun Online revealed Steph had tragically suffered a miscarriage.
She was later filmed on a boozy night out as she went into self-destruct mode - leaving her friends terrified for her safety.
The strain of the court case today has only added to the 24-year-old’s upset.
The friend added: “No one knows what to say to Steph or how to comfort her.
“She wanted Jeremy to serve time behind bars and can’t work out why it didn’t happen.
“Her family and friends are surrounding her and trying to help her keep her chin up but it’s tough.”

Today the court also passed a three year restraining order which bans Jeremy, 27, from contacted Steph or going onto the road she lives on.
In a statement, Steph said: “This incident has made me feel a nervous wreck.
“Every time I hear a loud noise I panic.
“I have to take anti-depressants.
“I feel like I'm drowning. I feel helpless like the whole world is against me and I feel alone and this has affected how I live my life.
“I feel numb inside and just want this nightmare to be over.”
