Louise Thompson slams ex Spencer Matthews’ proposal to Vogue Williams as ‘odd’
LOUISE Thompson has mocked her ex-boyfriend Spencer Matthews’ proposal to Vogue Williams.
The Made In Chelsea star, who dated Spencer on and off for years on the reality show, says she “dodged a bullet” when it came to his “odd proposal”.
Speaking to magazine, she said: “I honestly thought he would never settle down!
“It's nice that anyone can change. Although, I find it so odd that he proposed at The Lion King!”
The 27-year-old added: “That would be my worst nightmare, so I'm bloody glad I dodged that bullet.”
Spencer proposed to the 32-year-old presenter Vogue following a performance of Disney's award-winning musical, The Lion King at The Lyceum Theatre in London's West End last month.
The pair had the best seats in the house whilst watching the show and were guided to the beautifully lit-up stage following the backstage tour, where he proposed.
Speaking about his engagement, Spencer told Magazine: Spencer, 28, said: "I've known Vogue was the one for a long time. We're very happy and in love. She's my best friend and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
"The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.
"'The Lion King' is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she'd probably say yes!"

Despite her comments Louise, who is loved up with Ryan Libbey, said she is still mates with her ex – who she rowed with constantly on MIC back in 2012.
She told the mag: “Spencer has always been so friendly, and said when he has kids, he wants me to be a godparent, which is cute.”
