Who is Rageh Omaar?
Rageh, 50, was born July 19, 1967 and is a Somali-born British journalist and writer - best known as a BBC world affairs correspondent, where he made his name reporting from Iraq.
Omaar was born in Mogadishu, and moved to the UK when he was just two-tears-old.
During his time in education, he studied at the Dragon School, Oxford, and Cheltenham College in Gloucestershire.
He then studied Modern History at New College, Oxford.

Omaar began his journalistic career as a trainee for The Voice newspaper before moving to the BBC, where he worked in Ethiopia.
A year later, Omaar returned to London to work as a producer and broadcast journalist for the BBC.
From January 2013, he became a special correspondent and presenter for ITV News, reporting on a broad range of news stories, as well as producing special in-depth reports from all around the UK and further afield.
A year later, Rageh was promoted to International Affairs Editor for ITV News.
Since September 2017 he has occasionally presented the ITV Lunchtime News including the ITV News London Lunchtime Bulletin and the ITV Evening News.
He also presents ITV's current affairs programme On Assignment.

What TV shows has he presented?
As well as covering the Iraq Invasion for BBC in September 2006, Rageh worked at Al Jazeera English.
He presented the nightly weekday documentary series Witness until January 2010 for Al Jazeera English.
Rageh also served as a Middle Eastern correspondent for its London Division.
During his time at Al Jazeera English, Omaar also hosted the monthly The Rageh Omaar Report - his own series of investigative documentaries, which first aired February 2010.
He was also appointed the BBC's Africa correspondent in 2004 and as a result re-located for a short amount of time.
On September 18, 2022 Rageh was ITV's royal presenter for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth.
Is Rageh Omaar married and does he have children?
Rageh is married to Georgiana Rose "Nina" Montgomery-Cuninghame, the daughter of Sir John Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill.
The couple live in Chiswick, west London.
They share three children - Sami, Loula and Zachary.
