Brian McFadden fired explosive rant at ‘Bob the f***ing Builder’ after he denied Westlife record breaking run of number one hits

BRIAN McFadden went on a foul-mouthed rant about Bob The Builder — for denying Westlife a record run of number ones.

, 38, was joined by ex-bandmate Nicky Byrne for the charity game. He was part of a Rest of the World team which took on an England side when he launched into his tirade.
His Bob broadside has been revealed by Alastair Campbell, former spin doctor for ex-British PM Tony Blair, in his diaries, covering 2007 to 2010.
In his entry for Friday, September 5, 2008, he says Brian — whose first No1 with Westlife was called Swear It Again — let rip on the bus to training.
He said: “McFadden hilarious going on major rant about ‘Bob the f***ing Builder… he’s nothing but a f***ng plasticine c**t. May he rot in hell’.
“I asked Nicky Byrne for an explanation of Brian’s rage, now almost a decade old. ‘We [Westlife] had seven no. 1 hits in a row,’ he said. ‘We had several more after Bob the Builder. If it hadn’t been for him we would have had 12 Number One hits consecutively, something nobody has ever done.’
“‘Get over it,’ I suggested. ‘Would you have got over it if you lost those elections with Tony f***ing Blair?’”

Alastair, 61, also noted: “Brian had put on a bit of weight. He still had unbelievable enthusiasm for the soccer thing, but said he had had to push his way in having been told they were going for new people.”
But when it came to the big match, the pair were both left gutted to get little game time from their team boss, Kenny Dalglish.
Alastair added: “Half-time came and he told us to stay out and get warmed up properly. Into the second half. Still no sign. Brian McFadden getting really pissed off, Kenny getting the silent Bob the Builder treatment".
